
This exerpt from Al Gore's book
The Assault on Reason is like a breath of fresh air. Now, if Gore could only figure out a way to say it in a three to five word sound-bite, he might get his message across. I started to write a song about the same themes but it felt too preachy and polarizing, it was called
We Let The Jocks Take Over. Maybe I'll finish it one day. Probably not, there's too much television to watch.
Anyway, I recommend taking ten minutes and reading the exerpt at this link, it's pretty hopeful:

You should listen to the song "Running the World" by Jarvis Cocker. You can hear it on his myspace page (www.myspace.com/jarvspace). Hey, it's okay to be preachy sometimes. There are some occassions where it's essential.
