We had a mini practice last night. Just Brian, Max, and me were there. But it was constructive, we went over that new song that I was talking about and it seems to be really coming together. Max introduced a cool little bass hook. Brian made a drum part.
We also went over a secret cover song that we are doing this Friday and an old Humbert song that we are planning on playing. Hopefully, on Friday before the show, the rest of us will be able to meet and go over the same stuff. That's how we do it a lot these days. We have to practice in groups and then just hope it all fits together during our shows. It usually does.
I'm really looking forward to this show on Friday. It's been so long since we've played a real rock show. I hope you all can make it.

Will there be activity pagesfor the lonely hearts who came solo to the show to play with in between the sets?
I'm not making an activity sheet for this show. They never seemed to work well at The Elevens, too dark, not enough tables etc.
But there will be some very brief interactive items for you to fill out before we play. If you are game.
I love a game & I understand about the activity pages. I will be toting along the new issue of "The Observation Deck" and poll questions for the next issue, if anyone is interested -watch out for the fluorescently-shaded aura forcefield which will be extending for 72 inches in all directions around me.-See ya at the show!
