It looks like we're finally going to get some serious snow this year. These days, I pretty much don't believe anything until I see it, but the town certainly is abuzz with preparations for the 5-20 inches of snow expected. This will be our first blizzard in the new house. It's kind of exciting. As much as I don't want to deal with shoveling and boots and all the mess, I'm still looking forward to seeing where the drifts form, how the backyard looks, and what the huge, fat squirrel does. What would a whole bunch of snow look like from the basement windows?

Looks like tomorrow will be a perfect day to listen to The Fawns hit Snow Day. It'll get you ready for the big Fawns show this Friday. We were calling it a Valentine's Day show, maybe it'll also be a digging-out party. We're playing with the Thungs, Lord Russ, and Rusty Belle. It's gonna be spectacular AND Lesa's planning on making and bringing cupcakes. So, geez, how can you not go?
