Looks Like I'm Centering

Play It! One of my favorite independent releases of the last couple years was School For The Dead's stellar full-length The New You. The band's creative force is Henning Ohlenbusch, and this tall man with the long name has released a solo record called Looks Like I'm Tall. The title was enough to make me smile, but the songs contained on this disc centered me like 3 glasses of Pinot. "Held His Gaze" is one of the most beautiful songs of the year. And Henning continues to make a name for himself with some of the wittiest lyrics around."
