Coolest Thing Ever - The Atomium in Belgium

I stumbled upon an article on boingboing.com about the Atomium in Belgium and my memory was validated.

I saw the Atomium first hand when I was about 12 years old. Once and a while since then, it has popped into my head and I knew it was in Belgium but I couldn't remember what it was called. At the time that I saw it, it wasn't a hotel for children! I don't even remember if we went inside it or not. But it looks incredibly fun now.

The troubling thing form my memories about this place is that I recall seeing it in a late autumn setting. Grey and desolate with no leaves on the trees, hands in my jacket. But, the only time I was ever in Belgium was smack dab in the middle of summer. I wonder if I might be combining my memories with memories of a movie or something. Wasn't this place in the background of a spy-movie or something? Or a Woody Allen movie? I don't know. But I bet I can look it up.

Anyway, I want to go here. Do you have to be a kid?
