We're doing haiku in my summer Writing Workshop at the moment. A bit of warning before you anger the teacher- it's one haiku, two haiku- you'd never say "haikus," just as you wouldn't say "sushis."
Anyway, here's one I wrote to illustrate for the class. It was inspired by an event I witnessed in the cafe at Pace Gallery during the SFTD CD release show.
I'll have tea tonight
I don't want hot chocolate
What does oolong mean?

Sounds like a fun class, Mr. Westcott.
