Mark Mulcahy Interview

There's a good interview with Mark Mulcahy over on Kristin Beam's Soundcheck column at Masslive.com. In it, he discusses the Northampton music scene, Springfield as a home, and this Saturday's huge exciting show at The Iron Horse in which the Kamikaze Hearts and Sitting Next To Brian are also playing. Here's the link: Mulcahy Interview

If you haven't seen Mark, or any of these bands for that matter, there will be no better opportunity than this. To be able to absorb their music via the excellent sound system at The Iron Horse will be a treat. (Disclosure: I will be performing with Sitting Next To Brian and with Mulcahy.)

You know what Sitting Next To Brian is, right? It's our very own Brian Marchese's band. Here he not only shows off his usual drumming talents, but his singing, writing, and arranging abilities. Awww yeah. Who's in the band? Rick Murnane (Group Deville) on guitar, Trace Meek (The Figments) on bass, Ken Maiuri (SFTD etc) on keyboard, and myself on the other guitar.

Get your tickets in advance at iheg.com or at the box office in Northampton. Hope to see you there.
