Jason Bourgeois of the Bourgeois Heroes just emailed me with this link to the official page for the Harry Nilsson documentary that John Scheinfeld just made. Oh man, it looks good.

I hope it comes to one of the lil art houses around here. I'm looking at you Pleasant Street Theatre.

There's a great film production and research diary that the director kept online here. Sounds like they unearthed a lot of forgotten things from this elusive performer. Throughout the diary there is an underlying theme of people, even large cooperations, going out of their way to supply the director with information, recordings, photos, articles, and film clips. All of them seemed to happily do so with a "do it for Harry" attitude.

People miss him.
