Things ARE Happening

My apologies to everyone for the lack of postings on the Rockumentary. Besides spinning around with an inner ear infection these last days, I have been utterly consumed with a large project. What is that project?

Moving.

The Rub Wrongways Studios can currently be found in several boxes. We are moving from our tree-top-club-house to a hobbit-hole-chill-out-den. It's a big process, but it'll definately be worth it. The new place is going to be great. Recently while watching that Flaming Lips documentary, I couldn't help but think of all the great music we would be soon recording.

Here's the current recording line-up:
  • First: the new Sitting Next To Brian album
  • Second: the new Tony Westcott album
  • Third: the second School for the Dead album
  • Fourth: a full-length Bourgeois Heroes album.
But, it'll be a while until the studio is up and running, of course.

In the meantime:
  • The initial promotional push by Dren Records of "Looks Like I'm Tall" is taking place. So, look for updates in the coming weeks about that.
  • The new Fawns album, "A Nice Place To Be" is completed, we are in the process of desiging artwork for it, with the help, of course, of in-house artist, Max Germer.
  • Ken is touring the country with The Mammals.
  • Brian is touring the west coast with Lo Fine.
See? Things are happening.
