Congratulations to Mark Schwaber

Hey, our good friend, Mark Schwaber, just won this years WRSI Singer-Songwriter Contest. It was a well-deserved win, Mark has been contributing wonderful songs to the Pioneer Valley area for longer than I have lived here. His music from his old band Hospital still echoes in the hills. Just last week George Lenker covered a Hospital song during his show at Bishop's Lounge.

It must have been a tough choice for the judges. Alex Johnson's songs are also great. Right now running through my head: "I went down to the fireworks..."

Some of you may remember that I won this contest a few years back. It's my pleasure to welcome Mark to the secret clubhouse and give him his jacket and robes. Cheers, Mark.
