I'd like to apologize to all of you out there who enjoy the television program Arrested Development. You see, I made the mistake of really, really liking the show. Therefore, it needed to be cancelled.
Yes, word is that the Fox has decided to cancel the show. The remaining unaired episodes will be played thorughout the rest of the season starting on December 5th. Goodbye Bluth family. Goodbye well written, excellently acted, smart, detailed, show. Sigh. Let's just hope they replace it with a trashy reality based celebration of wealth, consumerism, and celebrity. Maybe Martha Stewart or Donald Trump or Paris Hilton can have a show instead. That sure would be a lot better. Dontcha think?
Next on the chopping block has got to be HBO's excellent new series "Extras". I like it way to much for it to last. I don't know how the Simpsons and the Daily Show have survived all these years. Didn't someone tell management that I liked them?

Ah, but we are all missing the silver lining in this cloud: the cancellation of 7th Heaven. That show is a ferakin' zombie, sucking out brains and living forever.
Also the Colbert Report and The Office got picked up for full seasons. 'ooray!
