Sniglets

Here is a list of Sniglets I submitted to Rich Hall circa 1984 (I was in 7th grade). None were used. I'm transcribing the definitions exactly as I wrote them 20 years ago.


SPIBS - the spiked bottoms on plastic soda bottles

JEOPARJERKS - the contestants on game shows like "Jeopardy," in which the contestants avoid the subjects you are intersted in

SIMULTANEOBURST - bodily function in which you respond to two stimuli at the same time Ex.: a simultaneous sneeze and hiccup

PRE-WOUND - the scream and pain you experience when an object is about to hit you and never quite does

RE-WOUND - an injury inflicted on an given part of the body that has been injured recently

RIND MERIDIAN - the invisible line where you do not pass when consuming a slice of melon
