ARFS

Two things:
1)The title "Amanda's Ready for Spring" came about when, after a March '04 (or there abouts) SFTD show at Harry's, I said to no one in particular, while packing up, "Man, I'm ready for Spring".
Someone, Henning or Ken, maybe even Max, misheard me as saying "Amanda's ready for spring". We were probably all with ears ringing and maybe a little tipsy. But then we decided someone has to write a song with that title. That the former Ms. Amanda Brooks is called thus, is pure coincidence, and my song is
2) completed and very long and wordy. Sorry, Tony. It's gonna be the "20-15 Periphery" of my next album. Which was the "Queen Elvis" or "Astral Weeks" of my first album. A long, verse after verse, impressionistic song that's as much about nothing as it is about 100 things. I was gonna say the "Desolation Row"...but who even dares? Who even dares compare anything to anything? Who ever heard of anything?
