I get sent junk mail all the time from people who want to press cds for me. I recently got one from a place called National Media Services and as I was thumbing through it, I found this paragraph in their advice section:

"Save Your Money! CDs are sold sealed in cellophane. Your customers won't know what the inside of the CD jewel box looks like until after it's bought. It's best to use your money in the design of the outside of the package that directly affects the sale of your product rather than frivolously printing all pages of a CD insert in full color or printing full color on the disc. Only use color if it will help sell your product."
So, what do you think? Do I want to order something from a company that would write the preceding marketing technique? Doesn't it just make you wonder what kind of corners they are cutting in THEIR production?

So much for making a product of quality that you are proud of, they say, just try to trick your customer into thinking that is a product of substance. Jerks. Big jerks who are ruining everything.
