Ok. Red Sox won. Yankees lost.

Edwards, I think, won. Though the friend I was watching the debate with, thought Dick won (and he's no fan). I think it's awesome that Cheney's big zinger ("I've never met you before tonight") has been proven false, and there's photographic evidence

How do these people expect to just get away with lie after lie?

If teams Red Sox and Kerry continue their good work and positive results, it will help to lessen the today's triple whammy of
a) forecasters are expecting a lot of precipitation this winter in the Northeast.
b) oil prices are getting higher
c) flu vaccine supplies were cut in half after a British company ordered 50 million doses destroyed that wre destined for the US. There's now a serious shortage.

I usually get a flu shot. Especially now that I don't have someone at home to tell me that I'm hallucinating from a fever--there isn't a zebra in the doorway. But, I suppose, I haven't gotten flu in a few years. Maybe I'll luck out and not get sick at all. Or worse case, maybe I can stand it this year. Take a week off from work and watch Reading Rainbow while on death's door, while the snow piles up outside and the zeros are spilling out of my heating bill. But I'm not gonna deprive a little kid or a senior of their shot. I'm a grown man, damnit. I guess.
Go Sox. Go Kerry.
