Tomorrow night, we have a show with The Fawns at The Squealing Pig in Provincetown. It's always a fun time there. It'll be the perfect situation for the band to limber up for our big Cd Release show the followign week. We had a practice this week and it felt like it's been months since we had last played. The band was solid though as always. I just forgot some lyrics, mostly because I wasn't paying attention.
Anyway, the point is that the Squealing Pig shows are very casual and messy and we'll have a chance to bash out some tunes and get back in the groove, so to speak.
Lesa and I are going to the Cape early. We're leaving tonight and we'll spend the day there tomorrow doing whatever it is that you do there. The weather is a little sketchy so we'll just see what happens.
This time around, instead of spending our earnings on renting a van and therefore sleeping in our friend Ahbi's apartment, we will be taking our own cars and getting a hotel suite. Should be fun. Have friends in P-Town? Tell them about our show.
