Amen, Max, my sentiments exactly. I hadn't thought about that Bud might have pitched in for the ads (while it doesn't cost the Advocate much to put in the ad, it certainly costs them by not being able to sell that spot to someone else for three weeks in a row). Of course, the ads advertise Bud and the Advocate and the Iron Horse as well.

But, I did mention the part about the tickets being cheaper thanks to them. I have been really happy to have the ads in the paper and I hope I didn't come across as unappreciative.

I'm glad you are happy to play this show with the sponsorship, Max. When I was booking it, I wasn't sure what the rest of the band would think about it.

Here's to hoping that the ads paid off. I'm having a lot of trouble selling tickets on my own.
