Couple a things.

1. Our venue in Albany, the Larkin, has stopped having shows, possibly indefinately. That means, my solo gig with the Bourgeois Heroes on July 3rd, is no longer happening. Oh well.

2. Ari has survived the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy experience, but is keeping his word and not divulging any secrets about it. I guess we'll just have to watch the show whenever it comes on.

3. Tiny, welcome back. I left a message on your cell phone. Looks like no practice once again tonight due to busy schedules. We DID have a Fawns practice last night, though, and learned a new song. We are well one our way to a second album's worth of material.

4. The Fountains are playing in Boston this Thursday I guess. Not sure yet if we'll try and make the trip out there. Could be fun, no?

5. We're hoping to have a nice outdoor show on May 22nd at the Pines Theatre in Look Park. It's not confirmed yet, but if we are playing, it will be as part of an all day Northampton Day (350th Anniversary) concert. That all reminds me that I (or someone better than me) should probably be looking into bookings for things like Taste of Northampton or Amherst and stuff like that (it's probably too late). We need a booking agent. You know, folks, anyone out there who wants to get us a good show can have a cut of the earnings. Booking agents usually get from 15 to 20% of the take. How's about it? Are you good on the phone? Do you know anything about booking shows? Do you have friends who are involved in hiring bands? Do you want to make a few extra bucks. All you have to do is get us a gig that pays 10,000 dollars and you can make 2000. Hell, if you get us a 10,000 dollar gig you can have 9,000.
