The Living Rockumentary

Went to see Club Dread this Sunday. Instant cult classic. It's chock full of catch phrases and classic scenes. I loved it but it's easy to see how most people in the world will hate it. Did you see Super Troopers? Were you let down? I was kind of let down the first time I saw it, too. The second time it was great and from then on it has just been getting better - that's the magic of premium cable, you can watch these little bits of movies over and over again.



The movies made by the comedy troop Broken Lizard are creepers that way. They start off being pretty so-so and then they sneak up on you and suddenly you love it. I think you need to develop a love for their timing and type of humor. And I think I have. Anyway, like Super Troopers, this is going to be a huge rental movie and I think a few phrases are going to become part of america's movie quoting language.

I want to see it again already. If you go an see it, you are going to hate it.
