Auntie Wes, in regards to the reworking of older songs, I actually think that, for the most part, the songs hold up pretty well on their own. It may be that I change a few words here or there, or an odd melody or two, but in general I think the songs were fine, it was the limitations of my own ability and the recording medium that I want to amend. But, I have no problem with reworking some of them if they seem like they need it, who knows maybe I will co-opt whole passages and parts of some in order to make new songs. I could do that, if the suits at Rub Wrongways would release the rights to me. We're in negotiations, I think it will work out.

Most likely, if I am not that thrilled with one of the songs then I just won't bother revisiting it at all instead of trying to fix it.

Speaking of fixing things, last night Tony and Brian came over and we rerecorded a vocal take and messed with a few minor adjustments to the mixes and I think we are all done. I feel much better about the song we redid the vocals for, "The Title Song". We also discussed the new order of songs to be placed on the record. The order we settled on is basically the one that Ken presented except we moved Pick a Gripe further back. That was a move that Tony and I both came up with on our own, so I think it is a good idea. I hope Ken doesn't mind. Then again he's on the west coast, he can't hurt me. You hear that, Ken?!? You don't scare me anymore!

Next step is mastering and artwork - that's what March is for.
