Since my Valentine is up in the air somewhere between London and DC, I can take the time to wish all you lovely people a happy Valentines Day.

Also: 1) yes, that is a funny but creepy bumper sticker
2) Henning have you looked into making that owl monument your future home?

I just went to Glamourpuss in Hadley for the first time. Great stuff-better prices than Roz's. Didn't buy anything, but will go back. In the car I listened to the brand new Spanish For Hitchhiking CD which will now take its place among the top 10 best debut CDs by a Noho band, where it will stay forever.

Last night's Eagles Club show was an amazing night. Spirits were personally high because it was the first night I'd been out in a while, and the first night all week I didn't have a cold. Grammy award nominee Chris Collingwood was in the hisouse.
Red Door Exchange took us to the misty mountains where we huddled with the elves drinking mushroom tea and eating currant scones. Lo Fine then brought you back down, and led you into an escapist reality bound to this earth. Then Spanish For Hitchhilkng blind folded you, twirled you around a bunch of times and dared you to guess where exactly you were. Don't ask me, I had Jameson in me.

So, this Valentines Day night, I will read the new Magnet (with Robyn Hitchcock on the cover!) maybe rent another Curb Your Enthusiasm, and clean the apartment, since my parents are coming to see the Beatles thing tomorrow.
And wait for a call from me Valentine saying she's home safe.
