In preparation for this weekend's recording session with Bourgeois Heroes, I bought a new microphone. It's an Audix D6 and it is designed mostly for kick-drum recording. Frank and Jim over at Downtown Sounds say it's their favorite and Bruce included it in his list of good choices.
Also, in preparation for the session, my computer wouldn't stay on last night. It restarted every 2 minutes or so. So, I shut it off and I am hoping that when I get home tonight, it'll will work properly.
PS. I didn't buy the microphone JUST for this weekend, I plan to use it forever.
