Ken just called me and asked about this: Ray Mason asked if we wanted to play a show with them on May 9 at Harry's. Is everyone up for that? I think that would pretty good.
Also, Russell Chudnofski, who is performing his new Popopera called Skypaint (www.skypaintmusic.com) asked if we want to do a 25-30 minute stripped down opening slot at the Iron Horse on May 16.
Obviously, we can't do both. My thought is that the Ray Mason one would be better because we can do a full set. Also, we want to save our Iron Horse shows so we can open up for our idols (Chudnofski is a great musician and a friend - he used to play a few shows for The Aloha Steamtrain when back in the day and fronted a band in the area called Fraggle The Giant, but he hasn't quite reached idol status yet, damn him.)
Let me know if you guys are free on those dates and what you think. Maybe we can do the Ray Mason show as a band and I can do a solo slot at the Horse...I don't know.
Don't forget to put any days that you are unavailable up on our calendar. Speaking of which, I may have found a better calendar to use in the future, I'll let you know.
