THE FOLLOWING IS A COPY OF THE MOST RECENT SFTD MAILER.
Hello,
How are you? I'm up here in the Rub Wrongways studios listening to Jane Siberry and watching the snow plow in our driveway. It's snowing for the 900th time this year, which is nice.
It's me Henning from the School for the Dead. There are a number of new names on our list, perhaps you are one of them. If so, welcome. If this is all old hat, if you are a regular, let me just say thank you for indulging me again.
We'd like to tell you about a couple of things.
First we have a cool show coming up next week. Do you know the band Of Montreal? Well, they're really good and creative and interesting and original. And the guy from Of Montreal, Kevin Barnes and a few other folks, I think one of them is his brother, are on this tour called A Pollinarie Rave in which they perform music as well as skits and vaudeville, or something, we're not really sure. You never know what these guys are up to. But the point is that they are coming to Northampton and we are playing right before them. Here are the details:

Hey! Have you ever filled out one of our Activity Pages at a show? Well, if so, then it's pretty likely that your drawings are up on our website. Go to Gigdiaries and Click the date of the show, then find your little thumbnail and click it to see what you drew. While you are there you can peruse the pictures (you could easily be in one of these, too) and read our take on the show, audience, etc. Here: http://schoolforthedead.com/gigdiary.html
What else is going on? Well our Living Rockumentary is still growing in size and in popularity: http://schoolforthedead.blogspot.com
And as an added bonus we now have Your Own Personal Rockumentary where you can join in on the discussion: http://www.schoolforthedead.com/bbs
Speaking of websites, ours has just undergone some pretty big design changes. It's a constantly changing thing. Yee. http://www.schoolforthedead.com
Our four song Chain CD is being mastered next week, the artwork is in design mode right now. It won't be long.
That's the news from School for the Dead. Thanks for all your time and niceness. If we can do anything for you, or if you have advice, questions, and complaints, please email me. henning@schoolforthedead.com
Thanks,
Henning and the boys
