It's Tuesday. I leave on Saturday for a week in the sun. Not actually IN the sun, the sun is 93 million miles away, it would take most of the week just to drive there. I'm talking about the poor man's sun, also known as Florida. The state that everyone seems to hate. All I have to say to those that wonder why we would travel to such a flat souless sell-out of a state is "we're leaving our jackets in the car, at the airport."

So, what do I need to get done before leaving? Tonight I have to put some mostly-finished mixes of two SFTD and two Fawns songs on CDs to give to the Northampton Music Festival so that they can consider whether or not to include them in the compilation CD. They must be mailed by the 15th (tomorrow). That's the most important thing.

I might try and make 10 or 20 copies of the unmastered Chain CD to bring with me and leave around in FL. Since I'm down there, I figure I may as well. But, we'll see what time allows.

Last night I went to "Craft Night" at Harry's. It's not official, but we called it that. I brought a pad and a bunch of pens so that I could make some posters if any were needed. I ended up passing around the supplies to people at the bar and everybody was drawing. I did make one poster for the Pelicans show on Saturday and hung it up in the Saturday Window.

Tonight is open mic.

Other things I would like to do this week before going away:
1.) Put up the Gig Diary for the Iron Horse / Freedy show. Max? Anything to say? I haven't even looked at the pictures yet.
2.) Work more on the new website (won't have time to complete it though.)
3.) Get started on promoting the Thirsty Mind show (Max? Anything about an opener? Poster?) it's only 3 weeks away. At least I want to have a poster up on the website instead of the Freedy one.

If anyone wants to book a show while I'm away, I am free ever night except Feb. 14 and March 29.
