The Living Rockumentary

I like this feeling of having a show to look forward to every week. Last week was of course The Horse, in a few weeks will be SFTD at The Thirsty Mind in S. Hadley. But this weekend at Harry's, my ol' boy Ari comes to town with his new band The Pelicans, who I have never seen. (They've played numerously in NYC and even occasionally in England when Ari lived there but this is their first show in Northampton). Judging by the CD they just recorded at Frank Padellaro's studio, they sound like they'll be able to thoroughly rock one and all. The show will also be a CD release performance (you can check out details about the new CD at rubwrongways.com) and will also feature the bands Kahoots and Cyclub. However, The Pelicans, due to being out-of-towners, are on first playing at 10 pm shap.
