Great open mike last night. Russ, Ken, Brian, Joe, and Alexis all showed up wearing shirts with my face on them. Freaky. You guys should really consult each other before dressing.
I worked some more on the basic tracks for Omnivore. Eq-ing and Compressing. Trying to get them to be powerful but also spacious. I listened again this morning and it's really coming together. Yee.
I am in the process of booking a show for October at Harry's. We can't do a Saturday because Don doesn't think we will bring in enough people. Maybe he is right. If we can't do a Saturday then we probably can't play with The Pelicans because Saturdays work much better with their schedule. But, I still pushed for him to put the Pelicans on a Saturday bill somewhere. I guess they try and reserve Saturday nights for bands that really pack them in like the Stuntmen, Lonesome Brothers, Cyclub, Ware River Club, Beefy DC, etc. So, it's probably a Thursday again for us. Which is good in many ways.
